BRAIN FEVER is a memento mori; a documentary that follows journalist Horace Greeley's oxygen-starved birth, and meteoric rise to the forefront of American journalism before personal tragedy and political ambition collide during his doomed presidential run — culminating in a descent into madness and death in a mental asylum. Directed by his great-great-great-grandson, Matthew Greeley, the film doubles as an investigation into the mysterious circumstances surrounding his death.
